Update on Corona Protection MeasuresEven though Corona protection measures have been greatly reduced in recent times at Leipzig University and in general, it is still our concern to do everything possible to ensure the protection of members and employees at our university. Thus, everyone is asked to observe the general rules of hygiene such as keeping a minimum distance of 1.5 metres, ventilating rooms regularly, and, of course, wearing a mouth-nose protection wherever the minimum distance cannot be kept. In all Leipzig University buildings, wearing a medical or surgical face mask is strongly recommended, but not mandatory. Please remember that before our events – in particular, the colloquia on Wednesdays, the Coffee Breaks on Tuesdays and the Eranos dinners – a Corona rapid test must be carried out by everyone who wants to participate. We have tests available for you in our office. Please contact us if you have any further questions around this topic. |

Tuesday Coffee Break is backSince the current situation allows it, we are very glad to be able to offer a joint coffee break on a regular basis again, every Tuesday at 3 p.m. in our KFG lounge. Everyone who is present at that time, is invited to join the colleagues for conversation and coffee (or tea) and a piece of cake. We ask everyone who would like to participate, to do a Covid test beforehand. We have tests available for you. See you at the coffee break! |

KFG Offices: New Printer Room completedFor some time now, construction work has been going on for the new room for our network printer RICOH in the KFG office building. Now it is finally to be completed. As of next week, you will no longer find the printer in the small Meeting Room (4.22), but in a new room next to the office 4.21. You pass the blue kitchen and go around the corner until the next room on the left. There you will find the printer in the back left corner. |

Save the date: Screening Religion with “Kongo” on 21 September at naToOur Screening Religion film series continues: On 21 September we will be showing the film “Kongo” at Cinémathèque Leipzig at naTo. As the directors of the film, Hadrien La Vapeur and Corto Vaclav, describe it, in Africa, no sphere of society escapes enchantment and magic. In his church, Médard the apostle hunts down the evil eye, which hides in the bodies of the patients he sees. He invokes spells, exorcises, but demons are crafty and the apostle himself is accused of being a sorcerer. The film will be shown in original languages (Lari and French) with English subs. After the film, there will be a discussion. Free entrance, donations are welcome.
Cinémathèque Leipzig at naTo, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 46, 04275 Leipzig
