Weir will give a presentation on his new collaborative project on “The Global Diffusion of Arguments from Epistemes/Ontologies/Worldviews” in our colloquium. Workshop “Grassroots Movements, Beyond Dichotomies”, 15 March at Leipzig UniversityOn Friday, 15 March, we will be hosting the workshop “Grassroots Movements, Beyond Dichotomies”. The workshop aims to exchange views on patterns of interpretation and explanation of country-specific experiences, how to understand the grassroots democratic movements and revolutions in the region, and their role in shaping the future of the Middle East. CfA: Researchers for the International Research Training Group (IRTG) “Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond”The DFG-funded International Research Training Group (IRTG) “Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond,” a unique cooperation between Leipzig University (LU), the Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture – Simon Dubnow (DI), and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), will commence its work in Leipzig from September 2024. There are currently vacancies for 4 Doctoral Researchers, a Postdoctoral researcher, Post-Doctoral Fellowships and a Doctoral Fellowship Program. Deadline 2 April 2024
