Starting next week there will be some changes in our coordination team. Johannes Duschka will be on parental leave for the next three months. Foteine König will no longer be a student assistant, but will officially join our coordination team starting 1 August 2019.

CfA: PhD Position

The DFG Cluster of Excellence “Africa Multiple: Reconfiguring African Studies” at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, is looking for a Research Associate / Doctoral Researcher (75%) in the Study of Religion to commence on 1 October 2019 or as soon as possible after this date. The contract period will be three and a half years (possible extension possible). The salary will be according to TV-L E13.

CfA: 2 PhD Scholarships

The Doctoral Program in Buddhist Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany offers two PhD scholarships for dissertation projects related to Buddhism. The four year scholarships start 2020 and are payed with 1200 € a month, 460 € per year and further support for insurance, rent and travels. It is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Deadline is 6 October 2019.
