And of course, a friendly reminder about our Screening Religion event tonight: At 7 p.m., together with the Cinémathèque Leipzig, we will be showing the documentary “The Light in her Eyes” – the story of Houda al-Habash, a conservative Muslim woman, mother and preacher, who founded a Qur'an school in Damascus exclusively for young girls. The screening will be followed by a discussion. Watch the film here. Enjoy and take care! |

Covid-19: Latest UpdateFollowing the latest decisions made by the German federal and state governments yesterday and today, we would like to give you an update on Covid-19 health protection measures: In view of rising Corona infection figures the shutdown in Germany will be extended until 18 April. Currently, the federal and state governments are still discussing the exact regulations, details for Leipzig on a daily basis can be found here. The basic rules are still: reducing personal social contacts as much as possible, keeping your distance, wearing a mask. Leipzig University is trying to offer weekly tests for all members as soon as possible. We will try to make this available centrally for all KFG members in our offices. We will let you know as soon as possible when exactly this will start. Anyone who would like to be tested free of charge already now, can do so at the New Town Hall of Leipzig. |
