Wednesday Weekly 11 October 2023

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce that the highly anticipated final KFG conference will take place this week! We start tomorrow, 12 October, at 7 pm with a keynote by Reinhard Schulze on "The Normative Status of Secularity and Islamic Genealogies of Worldliness" in the lecture hall of the Bibliotheca Albertina. On Friday and Saturday we will have nine panels on a wide variety of topics that we and our fellows have encountered over the last eight years. We look forward to seeing you there!

On the occasion of the conference, our director Christoph Kleine did an interview with our university's media service. Information on this and next week's colloquium with David Jeffery-Schwikkard can be found below in the Weekly.

Enjoy and take care!
